Im a professionally trained Spanish and English translator and interpreter with 16 years of field experience. I am also a certified teacher having a 120 hour TESOL certificate and a masters in Spanish Education. I have taught students of all ages in many settings.
I have 3 years of teaching Spanish in middle and high schools on NH where I was in charge of all curriculum development, lesson planning and student assessment. I communicate progress with parents and students as well as administration and other classroom teachers. I have been teaching online since April, 2017.
I have traveled the world with my position as international flight attentant interpreter with Continental Airlines. I have lived and worked in Quito, Ecuador for 5 years and studied abroad in France. I have spent a significant amount of time in Italy where I focused on learning Italian and the Philippines on mission trips.
Students can expect a fun interactive class conducted 100% in the target language. I make classes fun and interesting by using the students interests, needs and language ability to customize a lesson specifically for that students. Students can expect to be immersed in the Language and culture through use of movement, visual and oral aids to ensure complete comprehension. Students will get to hear music, read literature and hear TV and radio broadcasts in the target language along with classroom instructions.
