Accent reduction

Through public speaking and communication I teach eloquence to people who wanna reduce their accent. We go over things consciously, and work to reduce the accent. Eloquence of speech takes time, and effort, yet the results are worth it. People will notice that your accent is falling away. Many people teach English, and many people teach writing, yet there’s not many people that teach eloquence. Eloquence with something I learned during my years of public speaking, and even I had moments where I had to really enunciate clearly so everyone can understand what I was speaking about. Eloquence is the secret to helping your accent to fall away, and it won’t happen overnight, but with practice and effort it could happen on a different timetable for different people. Accent reduction, also known as accent modification or accent neutralization, is a systematic approach for learning or adopting a new speech accent. It is the process of learning the sound system (or phonology) and melodic intonation of a language so the non-native speaker can communicate with clarity. In some cases the student's goal may be to eliminate their accent completely, though improving intelligibility is often a more attainable goal. The techniques that I use are very helpful and supportive.
