Singing with Marina V.

My name is Marina. I’m a vocalist. I was born in Saratov, Russia. My parents were classical musicians, that's why I grew up in music atmosphere. I graduated from a music school, also took classes at Theatre Faculty of Saratov Conservatory. After that I moved to Moscow where I entered Moscow College of Improvised Music. When I started to take voice lessons myself, which was more than 15 years ago, I realized that this is what I'd love to do when I grow up: teach people how to sing! That was the moment when I started practicing a lot, learning more and more vocal warmups and exercises as well as studying vocal anatomy and pedagogy. When I got accepted to Berklee College of Music, it has completely changed my life. It opened so many new horizons for me. I was performing a lot but I was even more happy and grateful when I was asked to assist at some classes and to teach the beginners. The more I was doing that thing, the more excited I was. So, today I can say that this is one of the best professions in the world. I've worked with more than 200 students all over the world, and I'm so happy to see their success. Many of them have their own bands now. Some of them took part in local and international vocal competitions. Many of them have become vocal coaches as well. I'm really a fan of what I do everyday. I'll be happy to welcome you to my lessons!
