Sometimes calculus looks scary. It usually happens when things that we are doing are too abstract for us. I help by connecting calculus to real life and helping my students to understand why we are solving this problem this way and probably invent their own way to solve problems. I needed help with college Algebra. It was nice that Marina was available 15 min before our scheduled time, so I could ask some questions beforehand. I have terrible math anxiety and she has such a relaxed and easy to follow manner of interaction. She helped me understand the assignments and not feel frightened in the process of working on them. I think I might have started having a little fun in the end even! What an amazing experience and a great teacher! Thank you!
