As a child of five years old I was brought by my mom to Gulyaev’s Art Studio and this famous Ukrainian artist involved me in the marvelous world of fine art. In high-school, I participated in a federally-funded program for the Gifted and Talented in Visual Art. After graduation I won a huge competition and was admitted as a student of the Architectural department of the Kiev Architectural Civil University. In 2001, I become a student, hand-selected by the director of extraordinary Master degree program of Visual Communication, offered by Syracuse University (Syracuse, NY). In master classes, we learned from each other and worked with the best illustrators: Murray Tinkelman and Cris Payne, Dave Passalaqua and Sano Kazu (Kazuhini), Bunny (Alice) Carter and Bob d’Sey, I love to learn new skills and keep learning new styles and techniques all the time. This love has inspired my beloved students to do the same.
