Mariana was the percussionist/drummer of the National Broadway Tour of Once on This Island. She has also performed on Broadway in shows such as "Head Over Heels", Ain't Too Proud, Merrily we Roll Along, among other productions. She is a graduate from Mason Gross School of Arts at Rutgers University. Mariana is a versatile percussionist and educator and enjoys working with students of all ages and ability.

She is actively involved in rock, pop, latin, classical and theater scenes. Mariana enjoys sharing her knowledge with her students and help them find their way with the instruments.

Mariana has been teaching privately for over 7 years and welcomes students from all backgrounds, ages and abilities. Her lessons focus on technique in percussion, drumset, mallets and hand drums, developing the student's abilities to read charts , musical versatility while learning music from around the world. Mariana loves to explore the student's interests and to help them develop their passion for music.

For first time learners, Mariana will introduce many possibilities on the drums and percussion and show anyone that they can have fun and play the instrument that they always dream about.
