My singing lessons focus on developing a pleasant singing tone without physical strain or injury to the voice.  This is accomplished through a series of lessons that include exercises to improve stamina, increase range, and develop a better tone quality.  The techniques learned in these exercises are then applied to songs that are of interest to the student.

My name is Maria. I have been teaching private piano and voice lessons since 2005. I am currently available to teach lessons online. I have helped my students learn to play the piano, read musical notation, sight sing, and prepare for piano and vocal auditions.  

I have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Music Education from The University of Alabama. I am a patient and conscientious teacher with a teaching style that is thorough, organized, and dynamic.
