I am passionate about what I do! I am American but I have lived in Argentina most of my life. I have recently moved back to US. I worked as a Spanish Teacher at Buenos Aires University and as a Spanish and Literature Teacher at Saint Ciaran School located in Buenos Aires too. As a Spanish teacher for foreigners and natives I have developed strong teaching skills related to adults, teenagers and young students.
I have prepared creative lesson plans meant to reach them on various learning levels and used a variety of instructional strategies to provide equity and excellence to students (games, images, audio files). I also have more than 10 years of experience as a private teacher!
Maria was a very good Spanish teacher in that she would pay attention to your weak points and make sure you understood your mistakes. She was also a very nice person.
She is an excellent teacher and a great person!
She is patient with her students and very clear in her explanations. She also created a very nice environment in the classroom.
I learnt a lot in her classes and had a lot of fun as well!

I enjoyed very much her lessons.Maria Cecilia is a patinet, professional and knowledgeable tutor. I have started from a very basic level of spanish and she quickly adapts the level to meet yours, while at the same time demands your full focus and intensity to learn as much as possible during the lessons. She conveys complex material in a manner easily understandable with step by step explanations and made sure i understood everything before proceeding. Highly recommended.
Thanks so much
I had Maria Delfino as a Spanish teacher for half a year while I was studying Spanish in Argentina. She is a very creative, funny and positive teacher, and I feel like I doubled my Spanish vocabulary by having her for only that short amount of time. Strongly recommend her!+ Read More
Excelente profesora, muy cálida con sus alumnos. Cuenta con abundantes recursos de enseñanza y es muy responsable.
Great Spanish teacher! She's always very motivated and knows how to explain grammar to students. Recommendation!
I really learned a lot from Cecilia when I was in Buenos Aires. Her approach is very effective as she makes her students talk and write about subjects familiar to them albeit in a foreign language. We also had several interesting excursions thus adding a cultural and social aspect to the classes. I highly recommend her!+ Read More

She is very knowledgeable of the Spanish language. Her credentials and experience make her an excellent teacher. I've been studying with her for 4 years. Even though I had Spanish lessons before and had some basic knowledge she made me improve my pronunciation and vocabulary. I totally recommend her.+ Read More
