Drawing with Margot H.

I am a graduate of Dartmouth College where I completed a Major in Studio Art. I work both in oils (painting) and in several drawing media (charcoal, graphite, colored pencil, pen and ink, etc.). My work has won several awards and been exhibited throughout Massachusetts and New Hampshire. As an exhibiting member of several art associations (including the Wellesley Society of Artists, the Dedham Art Association, and the Malden Sketch Group), I am active in the Boston area artist community. I draw and paint everyday. I attend figure drawing sessions at least twice each week to keep my skills fresh. In my personal art practice I specialize in portraiture but I occasionally dabble in landscape, still life, or whatever catches my artist's eye. I find the creation of art an amazingly fulfilling pursuit and I enjoy sharing my passion with others.
