I have been teaching dance for over 12 years. My students have won many competitions and some of them even passed tough exams to enter Dance Academy programs, colleges and universities. I am very passionate about teaching dance and finding the right "key" to every student. I believe that all of us are different in the way we process new information, the way we learn, memorize, get motivated, and progress. I believe in order to get maximum result in such complex craft as dance there has to be a balance between having fun and having discipline. Each class has a set structure, short-term goals, and long-term goals, and of course, we do have fun. I love my profession, I love teaching and figuring out how to achieve the greatest result with that particular student by applying aspects of sports psychology on top of standard methods, and I love seeing my students fall in love with the craft and achieve great results.

I am a professional dancer, choreographer, actress and director. Born and raised in Moscow, Russia I started dancing at 4 years old. I graduated from Moscow State College of Arts in 2008 as a choreographer. In the United States, I studied different dance styles (hip-hop, house, tap, vogue, jazz-funk) in a Certificate Program at Peridance Capezio Center in New York (2011-2014). I completed the Yale Actors Conservatory program in 2016 and studied acting and directing at HB Studio (New York) in a Certificate Program (2017-2020). I have been teaching dance for over 12 years in different countries around the world. I have worked and collaborated with many artists (Shaggy, Krishane, Busta Rhymes), TV shows (Kingdom, Next Step Realty, Mr. Robot), and theatres in New York, Paris, Moscow, and Los Angeles. I am a goal-oriented teacher and care very much for your progress. Therefore I have some guidelines and tips: I teach classical dance (ballet) according to Vaganova's technique (Russian school) and I advise NOT to book less than 60 minutes for a ballet class. Anything less than 60 min is simply not enough time. I teach typical workout lessons for different muscle groups for gaining strength and body shaping (30-45 min is enough for such a class). I teach Hip Hop dance, House dance (no less than 60 min per class). I do not typically work with students younger than 10 years old but exceptions can be made. I enjoy working with students of all levels, from beginner to advanced. There is a possibility of doing an online class with several students. I would advise you to contact me prior to booking so we can figure out what is the best option for you.

I have been training with Margo for 6 months now and the progress is amazing. I wanted to learn how to break dance but didn't expect much... I can already do hand stands, head stands, whole bunch of freezes, tornadoes (slow but still!), backspin, coffee grinder, footwork, kip up. I am super close to power moves at this point - I can feel I can get a windmill and a swipe this month. To say I'm excited is an understatement! It is so exciting to realize that you are capable of so much more than you think! She teaches me to believe in myself and be persistent. I love it!

I didn't expect that I'll start to dance hip hop so quick. I've been dancing ballet since I was 3, now I'm 14. I never had any hip hop training. Transition to hip hop was very challenging in the beginning but within a month of training with Margo I started dancing hip hop very well, better than most of my friends who've done it for a long time! Thank you Margo!!!

Margo is a wonderful teacher! She corrected my technique in no time, helped me figure out why I just couldn't do certain things (pirouettes). I love working with her, learning from her, she is very patient with me and always finds the right words to motivate me. I am very pleased
