Well Hello! I am an artist and teacher with 15 years experience, trained in many artistic mediums teaching to both children and adults from a wide range of diverse backgrounds or experience levels. Tell me what you want to learn to do, and I will customize your time in my art studio so that you can reach your artistic vision by growing your skills step by step. I have a contagious enthusiasm and warmth and am interested in building relationships with students over time. My favorite thing in the world is to create a supportive environment where my students are excited to make art they love. In addition to teaching lessons, I am a working artist, a school teacher, as well as a guest teaching artist with local organizations like camps, senior centers, and non-profits, etc.

I took painting lessons about 10 years ago and haven’t done anything since. I brought a 1/2 finished painting. Maggie was great helping me set up and seeing where I was and what I remembered. Then showed me some techniques to help get me going. I’m looking forward to our next lesson.

Maggie is an exceptional teacher who has her classroom management skills down to a tee. It’s amazing to watch her command a classroom full of children while remaining sweet and never losing her cool. She was a great mentor and I learned a lot about art education from her!
