Specializing in the beginner/intermediate piano student! All ages welcome. Lessons are customized and catered to the needs/goals of each student. Not only will you be playing songs in no time, but you will be building a strong foundation of note reading, music theory, ear training, sight reading, technique, and more!

I have been playing piano my entire life. Piano has been a wonderful skill to learn and develop. I want to share my love and knowledge of the piano with you!
I am just getting started with teaching piano and I am excited to get new students. When I was taking taking piano lessons, I often dreaded them. My goal is to make lessons as fun as possible to build a liking towards the piano.
I can teach beginner/intermediate students of all ages. I have been playing piano for 15 years. I studied classical piano for 10 years and have been focusing on blues/jazz/contemporary music since then. I can teach students to read music, proper finger fundamentals, and basic chords. Once we establish a good base, I can adjust lessons to whatever students want to learn!

Marcus is a wonderful piano teacher. I cannot recommend him enough! He arrives at our house every week with an amazing positive attitude to teach my son how to play the music he's interested in learning. Marcus is very talented and has a true passion to teach!

My 12-year-old loves working with Marcus. Only 2 lessons so far, but she's spending more time on the piano between lessons than she has over the last 4 years of piano lessons.
He brings a great enthusiasm and is meeting her where she is. Highly recommended.
