No drums are not easy and Yes it will take a lot of effort. If you’re looking for someone that will lie to you and tell you this will be easy and that you have nothing to worry about then you need to find someone else. You’ll get frustrated, might feel like giving up, some days you will go to bed thinking that you somehow got worse.... and it will be the BEST DECISION you’ve ever made! Humans thrive off of challenges. If you’re not being challenged then you’re not truly living. What’s a better challenge than learning how to create music from nothing but your body and mind ( a drum set preferred but remember ANYTHING can become a drum haha) Music brings out that creative side that can be suppressed my most things, and my job is to help you be the best musician you can be! I can help you with proper technique to make sure that you play with comfort and ease and don’t break anything in the process but once I give you the tools then it’s up to you to use them however you wish. You can play for yourself or for other people. You can become the set player at a local church or get payed to play the drums. The only limitation is you! I will go as far as you’re willing to go. And if your interested we can go further past drum set into the diverse world of percussion. All it takes is for you to make that first step and start lessons and then we can take it from there! We will go through this together and I will make sure you understand the wonderfully complex world of drumming.
