About Marcelina S.
Hi I'm Marcelina and I'm a percussionist at the New World Symphony in Miami! I love playing percussion and timpani and teaching! I have a wealth of experience playing in different ensembles and am eager to share it with you. I have performed at the Chicago Symphony, Kansas City Symphony, Utah Symphony, to name a few, and I have performed under conductors such as Michael Tilson Thomas, Valery Gergiev, Andris Nelsons, and Keith Lockhart. I have toured across Japan with the Pacific Music Festival. I also play drum set in jazz ensembles.
