Music is life!!!
I began music instruction at the age of 4 playing violin, piano and taking voice lessons, and I have not stopped since. I graduated doing a double major (Voice and Violin) from Universidad de Santander, Colombia, and now I am part of the Internationally Acclaimed Manny Perez Vocal Studio.
In the fall of 2012, I had the fantastic opportunity to work with one of the greatest opera stars of all times, Dame Montserrat Caballe, in Spain, who gave me fantastic reviews and compliments on the vocal technique and interpretation of the bel canto repertoire.
I was also, the Grand Winner in the opera competition "The Majesty of the Voice" on a worldwide transmitted program presented by Univision. I have also been granted with the title of Colombian Cultural Ambassador three times and have been invited to Music Festivals in Brazil, Mexico, Spain and various cities in the United States.
I played violin in orchestras and in different music ensembles (violin and piano) for about 15 years, and have also performed in both musical theater and opera, which has given me a broader range of understanding in Music, Artistry and Interpretation.
I have performed with Opera Companies such as Vero Beach Opera, Gold Coast Opera, Opera Atelier, Gratelli Opera Company, and as a part of Florida Grand Opera, and in different opera concerts such as Kampong Opera Concert,Steinway Piano Concert Series, Opera Tonight, Night of Opera Concerts âconcert series organized by the city of Doral-, and the New York Night of Music.
As you can see I have a great deal of experience and expertise in many areas, and I look forward to sharing all of this and more with my students.
