“Smason sounds like the kind of horn player who could walk into any date and acquit himself with distinction. That mastery goes beyond the surface; he seems to have a feel for many styles…”
David Dupont, Cadence
“Smason’s vocals...are at once dry and emotional, lending
a fresh, believable quality.”
Mike Dennis, Earshot
“And you can hear Smason’s Sinatra-like crooning…”
Roberta Penn, The Rocket
“An upbeat serving of great listening!”
Michael Guthrie, Victory Review
