- Levels Taught:
- Beginner, Intermediate
My teaching method molds to the necessities and interests of my students, but in general lessons have a theory section followed up by a practice lesson.
At the end of the day my main goal is to teach you how to play what you want to play, providing you with the knowledge you'll need to advance on your own time. Always in a fun, dynamic way.

Are we ready to rock?
My name is Marco, I'm an international musician and producer engineer with more than 10 years of experience playing guitar and a degree in Music Production from the University of New Haven.
My guitar students can expect to see improvement in their technique and musical affinities starting lesson one. I always like to prepare my lessons according to my student's interest, since everybody is different there is more than one method to learn how to play an instrument.
I also welcome those who wish to become proficient in the craft of music production, or even take your first steps in this amazing art form. I can teach you the fundamentals of recording and producing your own music, as well as insight to "tips and tricks" the pros use.
Finally and most importantly, my relationship with students will be a two way street so I can learn from you guys as much as you do from me.
Having fun is a must! after all we are talking music here
I was in charge of fixing, repairing and calibrating electric and acoustic guitars as well as being the intermediate level guitar instructor
The lesson Marco is doing is a joint lesson with me and my brother, Glenn. Marco was very thorough in the time we had to give us some great begginner information, and some homework to practice later. He also worked with us through technical difficulties, and provided us with reference materials and homework, and made sure we knew we could ask questions later while practicing on our own.
We learned the anatomy of a guitar, tricks on how to tune it, how to hold a pick, how to strum, the order of strings on a guitar, and the types of notes.
Our homework was a simple exercise to learn how to strum individual strings with a pick, and keep time.
Wow! You're lucky if you came across Marcos TakeLessons page. Marco knows absolutely everything about protools, and he is skilled at communicating his knowledge! He also has a music theory and audio recording background so he can speak to those areas as well, as an added bonus. You can't go wrong with Marco, he is a font of knowledge and he loves to share it.+ Read More
Excelente, me parece un curso muy recomendable para alguien que quiere aprender no sólo a tocar la guitarra, sino a entender la musica y asimilar la teoría musical de una forma amena y divertida. ME ENCANTO!
Marco was a phenomenal force in helping me understand and operate DAWs over the last few years. His instruction and patience has made me more confident in my endeavors!
Marco was an excellent teacher for my little sister. She has just started her passion for guitar and Marco has definitely motivated her to continue her passion. He makes lessons challenging yet fun for an 11 year old.
Greatest dud alive. He takes his job very seriously and rocks the strings out of tune any chance hd has. My son is very hdppy having him as a teacher.
Part of my dream as a songwriter was to be able to record my own demos so they didn't stay on my phone. Thanks to marco I started learning the basics of recording and production in protools and since then I have been making more music and even producing my own songs. He tought me how to make the most of my equipment at home and work with the resources I had available at the moment. Marco has a vast knowledge in production software and virtual instruments and now I can produce high quality demos. Life changing lessons!!!+ Read More
