Microbiology with Manuel F.

I am a Microbiology major at Florida International University and share a passion for the natural sciences. My plans include to attend nursing school and aspire to become a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist. I am also currently a volunteer in the Emergency Room at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital. I've always had a knack for the sciences and would like to share my interest with the student in order for them to better understand and appreciate the subject. My goal is to set up a teaching environment tailored to each student's specific needs. I believe that a "difficult" subject could be simplified through engaging one on one sessions with each student. Although much information must be memorized, there are certain key topics and complex processes that are critical and must be broken down in order to be fully understood. The student must be able and willing to put in their effort in order to be successful. With a positive mindset and a willingness to learn, the student will excel.
