Classical Piano with Mandie H.

Hello, future pianists! My name is Mandie (or Miss Mandie, as my younger students call me). I have been playing the piano for twenty years, and I’ve been teaching since high school, over 12 years ago! I received my bachelor’s degree in Piano Performance from Cornerstone University, but teaching has always been my first love. Teaching piano is so much fun for me; during the lessons we joke around and have so much fun, my students usually don’t even realize how much they are learning. For my youngest students, we dance and color and sing right alongside learning piano. I want my students to have a good foundation and knowledge of the piano, but I want them to enjoy the process. That being said, for those of you who are looking for a more traditional education, I have a very deep knowledge of classical piano and training so I will gladly put away my crayons and teach that sort of lesson!
