Learning guitar, or any instrument, can be a fun yet challenging experience. I have gone through the whole process of becoming an advanced guitar player, so I know first hand what each student will be going through. When taking guitar lessons for me, I will always be sure to listen to the student, and help them achieve their goals that they want to pursue in guitar. Each person is also on different levels of this instrument. So I will definitely tune into the level that the student is and guide them to a better sound and technique. Although we will be doing some boring stuff such as note reading and music theory (a necessity as a musician) I wil try my hardest to make these lessons super fun by teaching the student any desired song or other desired things that they have in mind. My goal is to make the student the best guitar player in their eyes.

Hello future student! Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Malia and I have been playing guitar for about 8 years now. I am currently a student at Esperanza high school and am in the top jazz band. I am very experienced in most styles. Whatever you want to play, I will be there to assist you, so don’t be afraid to give me suggestions on different things you would like to play. I have experienced the hard ship of learning how to play guitar and trying to build up to be the ideal guitar player, so I can relate to you in many different ways. Guitar has been my primary instrument, and I would love to make it yours too!
