I taught english as a second language for a period of 18 months in Thailand. When learning a second language, it is especially important to create memory devices or activities to help engage students progress towards their language goals. As your english teacher, I will help bridge the gap between where your language skills currently are, and where they can be.

- Teaching since:
I have spent my entire life developing my skills as a singer, songwriter, and classical musician. Over the years, I have been awarded several recognitions regionally as a classical vocalist, and French Hornist. I have since ranged further into vocal technique, both classical AND contemporary, as well as piano and guitar fundamentals. I also enjoy performing and teaching fingerstyle guitar(if you don't know what that is, I would 10/10 recommend looking it up on youtube.:) I am currently attending the BYU School of Music in Provo, Utah, and recently returned from spending 18 months in Thailand as a missionary. I love preparing and eating Thai food, as well as developing my relationships with natives through my thai language skills. When I consider the different influences and instructors who have MOST impacted my life, I remember their genuine authenticity and ability to lighten even the most stressful of situations. As your qualified instructor, I will do my best to not only help you develop fundamentally and technically in your desired area, but also help you clearly see yourself as who you can become. THIS IS ABOUT YOU! LET'S DO THIS! :)Show More
For 18 months, I served as a full-time missionary in Thailand, teaching english to native thai speakers, and vice-versa.
Before I lived in Thailand, I taught full-time as a self-employed guitar teacher.
For the brief period of time when our high school hired a pit orchestra for "Fiddler on the Roof" from our community, I was hired as 1st chair french hornist.
I had Makenzie teach my son acoustic guitar. She was great, very well prepared, and an amazing instructor. My son loved going to lessons with her.
