Classical Voice with Maisha L.

Maisha is enthusiastic, talented, patient, and meets me where I am. She helped me get over some rough spots and her gentle encouragement seems to be what I needed.

Maisha Lani is an intensely talented and grounded vocal teacher. She has an abundance of vocal exercises that she used in our lessons together that really helped open up my voice. She is kind, sweet, patient, flexible, and attentive to the needs of the student. She uses her keyboard in the lessons to help the student find the note, and even incorporates vocal exercises that involve movement and explore facial structure and movement. After our lessons I felt like I was not only a more confident singer but I also felt more clarity in my voice. I would highly recommend her services to anyone looking for fabulous voice lessons!

I've taking voice lessons with Maisha Lani for 2 years now. My first lesson, I kept saying 'I'm not a singer. I don't think I can do this.' Maisha flipped that mentality very quickly. She's a magician with the voice and really showed me how beautiful, healing, and fun it is to sing. Maisha has worked with me on my ear training, tons of vocal exercises, my breathing, and she's helped me learn a bunch of songs. I'm so grateful I've been able to connect with her. I've grown so much!
