2016

I started teaching 3D modeling and 3D printing classes last year in Colorado. I love it! I also began teaching electronic-textiles and Arduinos to students. If you are curious, just send me a message and we can talk.
My students custom design and 3D print fidget spinners, hinges, fitted rings, robots, casing for a pulse monitor. Look at the photos of some of my students and their work!

I teach a blend of artistry and engineering, and I always let the student lead. I want artist engineering to be about beauty, joy, and creativity. I encourage this practice in the relationships I build with my students.
I have a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Minnesota, 2002. Using my degree, I worked in the field of commercial building design. I also worked as a singer, mask and puppeteer, radio and video documentary producer, video production teacher, AmeriCorp member, and other interesting fields. I use what I have experienced in my life journey to connect with others on their own journey.
