Hi!! I am Hailey! I graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s Degree in Bassoon Performance from the University of Akron in 2018. I have been playing bassoon for 13 years and piano for 19. I myself took private lessons on bassoon for 7 years and piano for 11. I have had the privilege to tutor Class Piano and Keyboard Harmony students and hold the post of pianist at Poe Methodist Church for 9 years. On bassoon, I have performed with several semi-professional ensembles, performed for some of the most famous bassoonists in the country, and have been invited to audition for several professional orchestras such as: The Redlands Symphony, Seattle Symphony, West Virginia Symphony, and the Dallas Symphony. I love sharing my knowledge with new students and my lessons include ear training, music theory, and even reed making! I look forward to meeting you!

I would recommend lessons with Hailey to a complete newbie or someone wanting to learn something new for music she is very patient and an excellent teacher she is very thorough and does a great job teaching as well as playing with any instrument she owns.

Tau Beta Sigma is a highly respected pre-eminent music organization comprised of over 160 collegiate chapters and more than 3,800 collegiate members with a balanced representation of women and men. International Double Reed Society

The International Double Reed Society (IDRS) was established in December of 1971 and is a world-wide organization of double reed (oboe and bassoon family) players, instrument manufacturers and enthusiasts. The society has over 4,400 members from 56 countries. Within the United States, 50 states as well as the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico are represented.
