About Maggie Z.
Since earning my Bachelor's Degree in Musicology in 2009, I have been teaching private piano lessons to ages young and old. I use various method books to develop strong fundamentals; which in-turn creates a strong musical foundation on which the student can build. I believe every student has a different learning style and as a teacher, I am constantly learning from my students to develop and expand my teaching methods. Each of my students are on their own individual musical journey and I'm happy to be a part of it.

Maggie is a great teacher. My seven-year-old daughter loves her and she learns a lot from her. My daughter had a different piano teacher before. I like Maggie's upbeat way of teaching better than her old teacher. I personally believe the right attitude and energy helps motivate kids to learn. I like that she has different lesson plans and reward system. Just a little something to show my daughter that she's doing a good job.

Maggie has been an extremely helpful teacher, I wanted to get back into playing the piano but I neglected a lot of the fundamentals when I was younger and just wanted to play songs, so I started learning fundamentals like sight reading and music theory from Maggie and I've been seeing a lot of progress.
