Dear future student :) My name is Magdalena, aka Mantra Cora. I was born in Poland, relocated to England in 2006 and then to the USA in 2016. I have studied techniques of painting in both international seminars and privately with Prof. Phil Jacobson, as well as at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Macerata, Italy as an Erasmus Student. My study course in Italy was followed by a 4-month internship at the Phantasten Museum in Vienna, Austria where I assisted the internationally renowned artist, Ernst Fuchs. In 2013, I completed my BA in the Visual Arts at The University of Salford. England. In 2016 together with Philip Jacobson, I co-curated 'A Legacy of Light' exhibition of 86 international artists at Castle Gloggnitz, Austria. Aside from curating and coordinating art shows, I teach private classes online and in the studio. In addition I co-teach with my husband, Prof. Jacosbon in the Old Masters-New Visions international, mischtechnikseminars.com that we organize annually. My body of work is concerned with portraits, figures, and comprised of visionary, fantastic and abstract elements. Some of my paintings were most recently presented at the Invitational International Visionary Art Exhibition at MAG Contemporary Art Fair, Montreux, Switzerland. My works have also been exhibited in the UK, Italy, Austria, Spain, Bali and the USA.
