Hello, I am college student studying Anthropology. I would like to some day curate museums. I am the oldest of three and not to brag, I have the patience to spare especially for my students. I have been signing for over a decade now (that's crazy to me), I am hearing. At a young age I became enthralled with the Deaf culture, I went to every Deaf day possible, I practiced signing till my fingers hurt. The Deaf community taught me a very important lesson and that was to love someone no matter who they were. I struggled through school and really understand that everyone learns at different speeds. I enjoy teaching because it gives me the opportunity to help others learn in a calm, encouraging environment. If there is one thing beyond sign language, I strive to teach everyday it is the same lesson I learned from the Deaf culture.
