- Teaches students:
- Ages 5+ and special needs
- Teaching since:
I am a saxophone player with a bachelor's degree in Speech Pathology and a minor in music from Marquette University. I have been playing saxophone since 5th grade, and continue to play regularly in bands at Marquette University and as a soloist. I have also taught myself how to play the piano, trumpet, trombone, and percussion.
Throughout college, I was involved in Wind Ensemble, Jazz Band, Pep Band, and Travelling Core Bands. The last two years of undergrad, I was fortunate to be the Small Ensembles Director at Marquette, and directed the pep band at women's volleyball and men's and women's basketball games. I am now a graduate student at Marquette and continue to participate in band as the principal saxophone in Wind Ensemble, and a member of the pep band.
I started teaching last year locally and would like to expand my teaching to people around the country. My personal passion is jazz and classical music, but I enjoy teaching all different styles of music. I look forward to helping you become a better musician!
