Baking with Madeline V.

As a writer I am continually honing my craft and seeking to improve the manner with which I convey my thoughts, experiences, and emotions. I have a passion for giving others the tools to do the same. In 2018 I completed the Write Story Books for Children course, and I have a self published mini memoir. Akin to writing, one of my life long passions has always been baking. Though much of my baking knowledge comes from self teaching, I have worked professionally as a pastry chef as well as owning a small in home bake shop. I believe both writing and baking require repetition and technique to master. Book knowledge alone will not yield proficiency in either art. Mastery requires digging ones hands into the dough or scribbling down notebooks full of words and learning from these experiences. Whether it's writing or baking, I have found practice, passion, and a lot of patience are the tools to improvement. Thus my goal in teaching is to give students the tools they need to practice and improve their craft. My classes offer instruction as well as constructive feedback to give students the confidence they need to improve in their art. I look forward to helping you grow your skill as a writer or baker.
