Violin

Intermediate

I am a violinist with 16 years of training in the Suzuki method, an intuitive music learning philosophy based on the principles of language acquisition. I also have a background in mindfulness based therapy, and as a social worker, I incorporate somatic techniques into my lessons to support embodied, present music. It is a joy to work with students of all ages and support them in their practice.

With 16 years of experience in the Suzuki method, it is a joy to share the skills I have developed as a violinist. With a master's in social work, I also incorporate principles of somatic therapy and mindfulness to create an embodied, present musical experience. I believe playing the violin can be an inspiring experience at any skill level, and I am so excited to support you along the way.
