Maddie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Musical Theatre from Weber State University and a Master of Fine Arts in Acting from the University of Central Florida. She received her certification in Somatic Voicework (tm) - The LoVetri Method from Shenandoah Universtiy in 2013 and has been teaching private voice and performance techniques in varying styles for nearly a decade maintaining a studio of over 30 students ages eight and up. Maddie has a great passion for sharing the foundations of functional singing propelled by vocal science to those eager to learn. Watching students grow, develop their technical skillset, and discover the power within their own voices is one of the great joys of being a teacher. Develop your range, muscular control, register balance/extension, and vocal health all while learning to meet the industry standard of singers today. Now accepting beginner, intermediate, and advanced vocalists. Anyone can learn to sing, and everyone has room improve! In addition to Maddie's vocal training, she has an extensive acting and teaching artist background, having the opportunity to work with various theatres including Orlando Repertory Theatre, Orlando Shakespeare Theatre, Peery's Egyptian Theatre, and Centerpoint Legacy Theatre where she has taught classes ranging from "Intro to Acting" to "Improv" to "Audition Techniques for Stage and Screen" to a full fledged "Musical Theatre Intensive" course.
