I first saw Mr. Luiz-Ottavio Faria as a performer in Carnegie Hall in one of many appearances with the Opera Orchestra of New York and I was mesmerized by his intense portrayal of Marcel in Les Huguenots and deep sense of musicality. Sort after the performance we met backstage and I asked him if he teaches, he said yes and I started taking lessons from him. He is a wonderful teacher both technical and artistically wise. He has helped my singing immensely with his good Italian singing technique and has raised my level as a singer higher than I ever could imagine. I recommend him as a teacher with all my heart and belief that he can be a wonderful teacher to whomever will start working with him.

I had the pleasure of meeting Mr Faria in Brazilian Theaters where we song a few Óperas toghether. Now I´m living in NY and I am having the opportunity to improve my technique with this excelente teacher who gets with all his profissional experience and a lot of sensitivity, explain and identify the erros of the voice and posture of the body. I can say that Mr Faria is on of the best Bass currently, as well as one of the best teacher I met. Congratulation and a lot of successs in you profession.
