Hello!

My approach begins with the ear.  To me, the ear is the most important aspect to the voice.  Muscle memory and everything that we use to become better singers depend on the ear!  While I do engage in some typical techniques like scales and exercises, my focus is picking music that adorn your voice, and working hard on getting YOUR voice to get to the point where you're happy hearing yourself singing that song!

I specialize in vocal production and studio technique workshops to give vocal students the recording experience while also giving them a catalog of their showcasing their talent, which I think is essential for vocal improvement. Therefore my approach continues with recording.  I believe it's the best way for singers to improve.  This way all my students have recordings of their work, which I find way more valuable to have than a recital for measure!

I have also come up with a process of using tools and studio technology as a visual aid for singers. While they observe the editing process of their initial reference tracks, the visuals perfectly exemplify what needs to be done for them to improve certain pitches or certain timings for a better, tune-free final recording.

I was born into a musical family in Brazil in the 80s and moved to NJ in 1994.  I attended Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA where I graduated with a BA in Music Business and focus on vocal performance and Audio Engineering.

Nowadays I am a freelancer!  Aside from teaching I am a Vocal Producer, a Background Vocalist and Arranger, a Tour Manager, Voice-Over Artist and also a studio manager at The Hit Mill in Cliffside Park, NJ.
