Flute with Luisa B.

I'm a classically trained pianist and flutist, teaching both piano and flute! I am attending the Mannes Conservatory of music in Manhattan where I will get a degree in flute performance and composition. Apart from teaching and practicing, I create a lot of my own music, ranging from classically influenced piano works, to electronics, ambient and improvised music. My main goal as your teacher is to show you the joy and excitement to be found through learning an instrument and experiencing music. I can teach you the fundamentals of the instrument through exciting repertoire and engaging exercises. I also encourage you to be creative and perhaps compose and improvise as well! I live in the West Village in Manhattan and will travel to your home for lessons.
