Trumpet with Luis C.

I earned my MM in trumpet performance from UCLA, where I studied with Jens Lindemann and Tom Hooten. I was a TA for the marching band and a GA teaching undergraduate trumpet lessons. I received a bachelor's degree in trumpet performance from the University of North Texas, and did graduate study at the Chicago Conservatory of the Performing Arts. I have worked across the country as an instructor, clinician, guest artist, consultant, and caption head. Currently, my brass caption head for Pacific Crest Drum and Bugle Corps, winds caption head for Chino Hills High School, and works extensively with Arcadia High School. I also teach at UCLA and the University of Nevada Reno. My students have been accepted to established music college programs, such as the University of North Texas and Indiana University, among others. My students can also be found freelancing in major cities, and in the cast of the Tony award winning show BLAST!
