My name is Lucciana (Loo-Chee-Ah-Nah...I was named after opera legend Luciano Pavarotti!)
I began formally studying music at age six. I spent my childhood and teen years participating in choir, orchestra, private instrument lessons (piano, voice, violin, Dobro), musical theater and local bands with musicians much older than I was!
I became a music teacher for the first time at a small music store in 2009. I absolutely fell in love with sharing the skills and techniques that had helped me become a lifelong musician.
I have extensive experience working with a variety of age groups and special interest students. My areas of expertise include: young children (0-5), students with special needs and/or behavioral issues, adult beginners, live performance coaching for future professionals, songwriting coaching/feedback, ear training, and of course, instrumental instruction!
Most importantly, I am passionate about teaching music in a way that leaves each student connected to the joy of creative play. No matter what age, skill level, or instrument, I fully believe that music meets you where you are and enriches your life in exceptional ways. I will work with you on what you wish to learn, incorporating skill, music theory, dexterity, technique, improv and repertoire into your curriculum in a way that leaves both of us inspired at the end of each lesson.

Lucciana is one of the most inspiring people I've ever worked with. She makes everyone feel like they have something valid to offer, and her positivity is the perfect ingredient for fostering creativity.
Lucciana's positive energy is authentic and real! My daughters studied music with her for years. She was always punctual, respectful, considerate, and careful. Her vivacious joy of living is contagious! The most important things she shared with my children was her positive energy and confidence. By modeling these qualities, she teaches them. My youngest daughter has special needs, and Lucciana intuitively adapted to her special needs far better than most therapists. Highly recommend! She taught piano, ukulele, singing, and performance.+ Read More
