Greetings! My name is Lucas. I have nearly 10 years of experience in many different forms of teaching. I have taught elementary through high school chorus, voice and piano lessons, college, and much more. I love teaching voice most because the relationship between a voice teacher and voice student is so special. I will be invested in you not just as a singer, but a person. I went to Oklahoma City University for all 3 of my music degrees. OCU is one of the top performance colleges in the country. I also taught voice and choir there for 2 years. I would love to assist you on the deeply personal and frequently difficult and emotional journey that is learning your natural born instrument. Lucas

Lucas has the ability to instruct beyond technique. He is outstanding at that, having successfully expanded my son's vocal range and improved his breathing as well as singing from his core. But equally, if not more important, he has allowed my son to relax while performing. Lucas knows how to help his students manage the tension associated with performing. We all know, whether we are performing in front of an audience or making a presentation to a client, we need to be in the right frame of mind to perform at an optimal level. Lucas teaches his students to be better prepared mentally for a performance.

Lucas has helped me tremendously in developing both the quality and range of my voice, as well as my knowledge of the music theory I need for good singing. His patience and good humor make lessons fun as well as productive. I highly recommend him.
