    About Leo S.

    Acoustic and electric bassist Leo S. has performed everything from rock and R&B to jazz and classical music at venues ranging from the House of Blues in Las Vegas to The Apollo Theater in New York City. He has played concerts and festivals around the world, appearing at Alcheringa 2014 in Guwahati, India, the Bimhuis in Amsterdam, and recently, NAMM 2015 in Annaheim, California. Leo has also performed in more intimate jazz settings like the Jazz Vespers at St. Peter’s Church with jazz pianist, James Weidman and percussionist Francisco Mela. Leo first attended the George Washington University where he studied International Affairs and Public Health. He has experience teaching mathematics, writing, and foreign languages. In the realm of music, Leo completed his Master of Music degree at the world-famous Manhattan School of Music in 2012. He now resides in New York City where he keeps a busy schedule of performing, recording, and teaching.
