Fashion Design with Lorraine B.

I'm Lorraine Chavies, CEO and Designer/Maker of Lady Raine Designs, LLC. I just love handcrafting things, especially designing and constructing handbags, jewelry and other fashion items. I started sewing at any early age and recaptured the passion in 2008. Every since then, I've been developing my craft by continuously learning new skills and techniques from artists/craftsman (women) all around the world. To keep the art of sewing and leather crafting alive, I decided to use my home studio as a learning environment for beginners, hobbyist and entrepreneur minded designer/makers. I earned a BA in Organizational Leadership at Eastern University in 2011; and a M.Ed (Adult Education and Training at University of Phoenix in 2015. I've helped AI of Phila. students meet internship graduation requirements. I facilitate sewing classes at the PAL and a summer camp for youth 5 -16 yrs.
