I have been a working professional pianist and instructor for 35+ years. After graduating from DU Magna Cum Laude with my degree in Piano Performance I began working professionally in the Denver area. I have performed as soloist with the Denver Symphony (now the Colorado Symphony), worked as primary coach/accompanist with Opera Colorado for more than 25 years, and have worked with a large variety of Colorado and international musicians and performing groups. I have coached every level from beginning students to international artists and enjoy customizing every session to the unique talents and tastes of the individual student. Music should be fun - let's have fun learning together!

I met Lori at a recent voice competition where she was the designated pianist for my division. She rehearsed patiently, returned texts promptly, and kept a steady, cheerful attitude through two days surrounded by stressed-out singers. As for her playing, she performed challenging repertoire with grace and disciplined understatement that made it clear she was there to help us shine. It's hard for me to overstate just how good an accompanist she is.+ Read More
Great first lesson. My daughter is excited she can already play Mary Had a Little Lamb and is looking forward to the next lesson.
