Learn Spanish effectively at your pace

I have volunteered at a center for a little over one teaching English to Spanish Speaker. I have also taught a few friends how to speak Spanish. Although I am not a native speaker, many people have said that I sound fluent and they even thought that I was a Native Spanish speaker. I have taught myself Spanish by reading books, listening to music, and talking with some of my friends. I enjoy speaking. I accept anyone willing to learn Spanish. I will be teaching vocabulary and grammar. I would call myself a efficient teacher, because I teach at your speed, if you don't understand, I won't leave you confused and unprepared to speak Spanish. I also prefer to keep my teaching alive, even I believe that a boring teacher can be difficult to learn from. Most importantly: don't be afraid to ask questions (I don't judge, I just want you to learn) and don't be afraid to speak (It is important to be brave and speak, don't worry if you might be wrong you're learning. Speaking Spanish is a form of practice, we need practice to perfect ourselves. Try to do the best you can do.) Spanish is easy, if it isn't for you I will do my best to make it as easy as possible. Sign up with me, I look forward to teaching you!

    About Lonnie F.

I am a non-Native Spanish speaker, but I really enjoy speaking Spanish. I have volunteered and taught several people how to speak Spanish and English. I have taken a Spanish Conversation class at University of South Alabama. I have an abundance of material that I use to enhance my own fluency in Spanish. All of the time that I have taught, I have learned to stay with my students. I prefer to teach slowly so that they will understand and learn. My goal is to teach my students to become successful. Honestly, I enjoy teaching. My dream is to become a licensed interpreter and travel to Spain, Mexico, Puerto Rico, etc. I am currently working on my dream by enrolling in University of North Alabama so I may earn a license. Whatever your goals may be; being an interpreter, traveling, or even teaching as I am now. I encourage you to achieve your goals. Put your mind to it and you will achieve. I look forward to working with you and helping you achieve your goals. Who knows you might enjoy speaking Spanish as much as I do.
