Hi! I am a second year Music Education student at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities where I study under Marissa Benedict. I graduated from a Twin Cities suburb in 2021 where I was active in jazz, concert, marching, and pep band. I was a drum major, won Louis Armstrong Jazz Award, and was twice selected to the MMEA All-State Band program. If you are looking to succeed in a high school program and eventually pursue music at a higher level, I am confident that I can start you on the right track! Students can expect to improve after every weekly lesson and practice most days in between. Additionally, they can expect to have an enjoyable space where they feel accepted regardless of any of their identities. I pride myself on being kind, understanding, and accepting of all students and abilities.
