As a journalist, voice talent and anchorman I was able to further explore the Italian language, and observe the most effective ways to communicate. In college, I studied the History of Cinema. During this time I developed a strong passion for words, idioms and language shades. These new areas of study sparked my interest in diction, diaphragmatic respiration, efficient styles of communication, tone and point-of-view.
Currently, I tutor children and adults from my residence in San Diego. If you would like to schedule a lesson, please email me to request an available time slot.

Lobsang is a great teacher to work with. With his excellant command of the grammar and diction he directs his teaching to whatever level you are at and smoothly,gently brings you forward to a comfortable familiarity with the language far beyond what you thought you were capable of. Lessons are so engaging, challenging, playful that you often only later realize how much he has taught you. Thoroughly responsible. conscientious, dedicated to his craft I recommend him most highly.

Lobsang is a wonderful teacher. He is very professional, responsible, fun person. He inspired us to learn more. His lessons were full of fun. Every week he came up with some new way of teaching. He emphasized on speaking language not just learn grammar. He has sparkling personality.

Lobsang is a great teacher.
He is very well organized, presents the material in a clear manner, stimulates his students to speak Italian during the lesson.
Lobsang uses different teaching modalities including audio and visual teaching materials.
He makes sure that students understand the material before moving ahead.
