Liz Roessler is a life-long Bostonian and professional lettering artist with a design studio / classroom in the city's Leather District. She has been obsessed with writing the Roman alphabet ever since she could hold a crayon in her lil' hand. After many years of perfecting her self-taught method, styles, and forms, Liz began offering custom calligraphy design work, including envelope art, seating cards, menus, programs, monogram and logo design, hand-lettering on chalkboards and mirrors, and more. For 25 years, she has provided professional hand-lettering work to a wide variety of clients, including individuals, companies and non-profits of all types and sizes, and some wicked famous people. She is now thrilled to be spending the majority of her time sharing her knowledge and passion for calligraphy, teaching her popular small group classes to aspiring lettering artists worldwide! Classes are offered in person at her Boston studio, in NYC 3-4x monthly, on-location, and online.
