Liz is a fantastic teacher and musician. Her wealth of teaching experience was evident right away in my lesson I had with her because she knew just what to say and exactly what pointers to give me when we were working on my solo. I love Liz!!

Dr. Mandel is very knowledgeable in trombone playing and really helped me get better. My technique has really improved and really helped my playing at school. I highly recommend her to anyone looking to improve and learn from someone who cares about their students.

I know Dr. Liz Mandel to be a consummate professional when it comes to teaching and performance of classical trombone. She is constantly keeping up to date with the latest pedagogy and practices, and she can adapt her teaching style to a wide variety of students' learning styles. On top of that, I know Dr. Mandel to be caring and understanding in a way that benefits her students and gets the most out of them.
