Liz Amini-Holmes is an Expressive Art Specialist providing carefully designed expressive art projects that bring creativity into children’s lives by helping them build self-efficacy, creative thinking, social and emotional learning, socialization and problem solving skills through art making. Liz encourages children the exploration of how “mistakes” can be turned into a piece of art. As an Expressive Art Specialist, Liz collaborates closely with the DPK team to provide individualized and specialized art services for children, adolescents and young adults with special needs, autistic spectrum disorders, behavioral problems, and children coping with loss & bereavement and emotional & traumatic issues. Liz is an award winning book illustrator as well a seasoned art instructor.
