I took part in the Chinese language teachers orientation held by Confucius Institute and College Board of the U.S in Beijing in 2013, Chinese language teachers training workshop as well as National Chinese Language Conference held by Asia society and the College Board in Los Angeles and Atlanta. All of these benefit me a lot in developing systematic and effective teaching practices. I truly believe a good beginning will motivate language learners to succeed with great confidence and interest. I can design my courses in many rich ways to cultivate student motivation and enhance opportunities for more effective learning. If you are a beginner, you will read Chinese pinyin (alphabet) correctly and speak Chinese with accurate pronunciation and tones. You will be able to make basic communication and express yourself simply. You can recognize 500 or more Chinese characters. If you are at intermediate level or high, you can clearly express yourself in short, and understand normal speed Chinese dialogues. You can recognize around 1000 characters. In a word, my course will be interesting and you can achieve your goals without any pressure. No matter why you want to learn Chinese and what your goal is, I am always here to help you!
