Oi, tudo bem? My name is Livia and I am a native Brazilian Portuguese teacher and translator. I have been teaching Portuguese for people of all levels and basic English for beginners since 2011. 

I have a degree in Languages focused on Portuguese and English. In addition, I am a certified translator and I provide Translation and Interpretation services as well. 

My objective is to improve comprehension, conversation, pronunciation, reading, and writing skills. Lessons are customized based on what you'd like to improve and you don't need to purchase any book. All the material is digital and and provided for free. You can download and print it for your personal use if you want to. 

Learning a new language and culture is very fun and you will love it! I am responsible, patient and kind. Até breve! :-)

I was a little late to start, but Lívia was ready to go and helped me to gain a better understanding of my knowledge in Portuguese language. I am very excited for our future lessons.

Livia and I have had a couple lessons together, and she is awesome! She is always on time for our lesson, and takes careful consideration of our time together. I love that she jumps right into our lessons and doesn't waste any time getting to work. 

So far our lessons have been very well-structured. I have some minimal experience speaking Portuguese, so she has taken into consideration the things that I do know, and has done light refreshers for me based on that. We have gone over all the pertinent information to form a solid foundation in Portuguese, and she has a strong understanding of grammar rules and pronunciation. 

She also gives me homework, which I like because it helps me to continue thinking about Portuguese even after the lessons are over. :) I highly recommend learning with her, she's friendly, knowledgeable, and organized!

She is very nice! I enjoyed our first lesson and look forward to the next!

It was a very good first session!
The only thing is I really want to focus on Portuguese instead of Brazilian. Hopefully, it will be OK (even regarding the way of talking and pronouncing works and accent)! Feel free to let me know if you cannot :-)
