I have been teaching violin lessons for 10+ years.  My students have included those from private, public and home schools.  I use the Suzuki method in my teaching, and supplement with other materials based on the needs and the desires of each student.  I believe in positive reinforcement, making concepts understandable, and keeping playing enjoyable.  If a child has a piece outside of lesson materials they need or desire to learn for church, school programs, or other events, I will add it to our weekly lessons and help them learn it to the best of their ability.

I have been teaching private violin and viola lessons for 10+ years.  In addition to teaching private lessons, I have also directed the music ensembles for my church.  

I use the Suzuki method for teaching violin and viola, and have received teaching certification through book 1. 

I love working with kids, and enjoy seeing them light up as they grasp a new concept, or their excitement as they complete a piece of music.  

In my spare time I enjoy spending time outdoors with my husband and children, helping at my church, and taking pictures.

Miss Lisa has been a wonderful and kind violin teacher for my children. She is competent in assessing her students'  abilities and progress, while providing the necessary instructions to help them be successful.
