Calligraphy with Lisa R.

Hello there! My name is Lisa and I believe that we are all given gifts to share them with others. That's why I teach. I'm a multilingual percussionist and health and harmony seeker; I've taught French, Spanish and ESL for many years in several parts of the world. I've also studied, played and tutored traditional Ghanaan and Malinke percussion for almost 10 years and have acquired strong polyrhythmic foundation. I love and can teach the art of Calligraphy, including mainly French and Arabic calligraphy. I earned a BA in Linguistics from UC Berkeley and have acquired and developed a lot more academic skills that I'd be happy to transmit (see my list of subjects). I'm also a mother of 2 little boys and a little girl, 5 and 2 years old and a 9 months old- my real full time job these days! I still do my best to remember to take a break and breathe to become a better human being through meditation I'd be happy to teach you what I know.
